🎈 About Me

Me Celebrating My Birthday.JPG

Hello, my name is Chloe Cho.

I am currently a ninth grader attending Fay School, and I am from South Korea. I have attended Fay since seventh grade, and this is my third year. As a whole, I enjoy my time at Fay very much. I love being a boarder and having the opportunity to be more closely involved in the school community.

My passions are visual arts and playing the viola.

I am especially interested in sculpting, and I have entered various art competitions and received recognition for my artworks. Since fourth grade, I have begun playing the viola. With my determination and hard work, I have rapidly improved and played as a member of the Fay Orchestra for two years.

As for sports, I wanted to play a sport that could hone my concentration and patience. I decided to play archery and soon ended up loving it. I aspire to advocate archery by creating clubs and letting more people find out how fascinating archery is.

Other than that, some of my other hobbies include dancing, singing, cooking and baking, and listening to music.

Surrounded by Art

Since my earliest days I have always been surrounded by art, whether it was from galleries and exhibitions or paintings hung in my house. As I grew older, I became more interested in exploring visual arts myself, which eventually introduced me to sculpting.

I first began sculpting during my summer break of seventh grade. Not so long after, I instantly fell in love with sculpting, and I have been consistently competing in various art competitions and receiving high regards for my artworks.

Supporting The
School Community

I have volunteered as a primary school service lunch helper since seventh grade. I have always loved younger children, considering the fact that I have several younger cousins myself, and this drove me to want to become a primary school lunch helper. Throughout my three years of experience, I have learned to better interact with younger students and quickly recognize others’ needs, as well as understanding the importance of helping others and coming together as a larger community.

Working as a Yearbook Staff

Being part of Fay School’s yearbook team has been a remarkable experience for me. I have worked as a yearbook staff in seventh and eighth grade. I first volunteered as a yearbook staff because I wanted to engage in creating something for my entire school community.

Through my work on the yearbook, I’ve been able to express my creativity while helping preserve special moments and memories for my peers. I hope to further continue this task and create something for my peers to cherish.
