Visual art has always been a significant part of my life, but my passion truly deepened when I discovered sculpting during the summer of seventh grade. I was drawn to the freedom and creativity it allowed, giving me a way to express my thoughts and emotions in a uniquely personal way.
I love experimenting with different materials and appreciate how sculpting let me step outside the constraints of specific themes or topics.
The freedom from sculpting allowed me to further incorporate symbols and reflections into my work, adding meaningful interpretations that deeply resonate with me.
Over time, I’ve worked hard to hone my skills, and I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for both my sculptures and 2D artworks.
My dedication to visual arts led me to apply for Fay School’s Advanced Studio Art (ASA) class, a highly selective program that only accepts a small number of students each year. In ASA, I primarily focus on 2D work, which has helped me further develop my artistic techniques and expand my creative perspective.
Through my art, I hope to inspire, encourage, and enlighten others while exploring deeper personal meanings and stories in my creations.
